Sea grass Survey – Improve contour and acreage calculation accuracy and provides a methodology for the visual assessment of density of coverage.  Provides a database of aerial imagery of monitor evolution of sea grass beds at time intervals and with an ideal condition it can reveal enough underwater details to identify sea grass species and verify use by marine life.
Tree Survey – 3D mapping with tree locations, shape and size and by adding repeated oblique flights can produce high-def 3D shapes of trees.  Tree health assessment with algorithms (NDVI Imagery, canopy coverage.
Tree Health (NDVI) – NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index) was developed by a NASA scientist in 1977.  NDVI is a good method for estimating the density of photo-synthetically active biomass and the plants reflect strongly in the near infrared because of a spongy layer found on the bottom surface of the leaf, but not strongly in the red.   When a plant becomes dehydrated or sickly, the spongy layer collapses and the plant ceases to reflect as much NIR light.
Mangrove Restoration – 3D mapping with tree shapes and size, and elevation contours and identification of water patterns, flushing channels and other relevant site conditions.   This is a a great survey planning, tree health assessment with NDVI, easy canopy coverage area assessment and able to assess/verify vegetation using imagery at different times.
Wildlife Survey – You are able to cover large areas by shooting high resolution 4k videos for wildlife ID and habitat usage.   Be able to identify large wildlife (panther, manatee, crocodile) over land or water, monitoring of nests of protected species of birds (Bald Eagle, Osprey, Wood Stork, identification of burrows (Gopher Tortoise) and many other uses.
Bridge/Structure Inspections – Easy to inspect hard-to-reach or dangerous areas and improve inspection safety and detect safety concerns.   The ability to detect environmental issues such as turbidity, waste, erosion control, tree impacts, offsite sedimentation etc. and assist in Management of Traffic (MOT) design and MOT issues identification in or near construction sites.
